Memorial Day Fishing

Today, Rosie and I fished on Lake Granada - a small lake is inside the Village and less than 5 minutes from our house. Planning ahead, we brought the boat home on Sunday afternoon and were ready to fish early on Monday morning. We started fishing at about 7:00 (not real early) and fished until about 10 - before the temperature got too hot.

Rosie and I each caught 7 bass. We had a great time! Once Rosie caught 3 bass in a span of about 5 minutes; she was really pulling them in. Most were about 12 inches long - a good size.

I caught one that was 16" and two more that were 14" and 14.5". Here's a picture of me with the 16" bass; I'm the one with the hat on.We had a great day and were home by mid-morning.
