On Thursday morning we headed to Hot Springs. Our first stop was the Fordyce Bath House and a self-guided tour of the facilities. Here's Jay & Gywn at the fountain in the men's bathing area.
Next we went to the 3rd floor to see the sitting rooms (separate sides for men and women). Here we are viewing all the sites.
From the Fordyce we headed to the Gangster Museum which has relocated to Central Avenue across from the bath houses. The Museum gives a great history of the gangster activity in Hot Springs. Jay enjoyed picking up the "Tommy Gun" that was available near the sitting likeness of Al Capone. Jay looks ready for action. Little did we know that he's actually shot one from the deck of a ship!
For lunch we took them to the Shack in Jesseville. Where else? We enjoyed burgers, catfish, fried green beans, sweet potato fries and a peanut butter/hot fudge milk shake. In the afternoon, Rosie planned card making for Gwyn and HSV friends Judy Parker and Ellie Hubert. Here are the three working on their cards. Left to right: Judy, Ellie and Gwyn.

While the card making was in progress, Jay and I drove around the Village. I showed him some of the more exciting sites. As you can expect, this didn't take too long.Jay and Gwyn left Friday morning for their upcoming meetings in Memphis. It was great to get to see Jay and Gwyn. Thanks for the visit and hope you can come again!
