Our first one is a miniature farm. The detail is excellent. For many of the miniatures, the hours needed to make it are posted on the sign - which identifies the exact location of the real thing in the UK or internationally. Some of the miniatures took several thousand hours to make.
Next we have a soccer match:
The next miniature is Stonehenge. Everything is correct except angle of the sunlight. As the Stonehenge poster indicated, since the miniature is in the southern hemisphere, the angle of the light is wrong when compared to the original in England.
Finally, here's a "birds eye view" of the site from a small raised platform.
From Cockington Green Gardens we went to the Canberra Botanical Gardens. Lorraine had arranged for one of her friends, Shirley, to give us a brief tour of indigenous plants. For those of you who don't know (and we didn't), the wattle is the Australia national flower. It comes in many shades of yellow, sizes and textures. We've included several different pictures of wattle and a few other garden photos. We hope you enjoy them!
