Punalu'u Bakery - Delicious Sweet Bread!

As we turned off Highway 11 and into the Punalu'u Bakery's parking lot, we enjoyed the bright colored building and the well kept gardens surrounding the building.The bakery is very proud of being the southernmost bakery in the USA. The fact is displayed at multiple points and on their brochure.Here's some detailed info. from one of their signs:We ate a vanilla malasada (donut) while we looked around the store. Some of their courtyard walls have drawings of typical Hawaiian scenes. The Hawaiian words for various items are listed on the scenes. We couldn't leave without buying something to take with us. We bought a small loaf of apple cinnamon sweet bread. We ate on it for several days - delicious!
